The Evolving Caravan is an ever changing fellowship of seekers traveling the world mapping the nodes of the Silk Road of human evolution.

For our Edge of Consciousness European Tour this January 2018, we visit individuals & places, explore conscious tech, businesses, organizations, cities, and nations that influence the evolution of individual and collective consciousness.

At selected stops we teach the findings of our individual journeys and learn about the findings of others. We invite fellow seekers to join us for the full journey or a part of it, either at the events we hold at some locations or by being part of the entourage of learning we engage in at each location. See our website for more information.

Our vision is to make the Evolving Caravan run continuously, offering a nomadic peak experience accessible throughout the year dedicated to exploring and connecting the nodes dedicated to human evolution from academic institutions and research centers to festivals, unique natural locations, individuals and communities, so as to not only map existing nodes but facilitate the creation of new ones in locations that have the potential for year long activity to aid the universal quest for wisdom, meaning and purpose.

Please note: All talks and workshops will be conducted in English. There will not be translation services to other languages provided unless otherwise noted in this page.

Science and technology are truly ubiquitous and beneficial, but they do little to point us toward deep flourishing.
With digital connectivity today, rates of loneliness and depression continue to skyrocket.
What if we applied our incredible engineering capacity toward our inner world?
What if we took an innovation approach to spirituality itself, and redesigned it for a modern secular context?
What if tech that provided the benefit of 10,000 hours of meditation was as accessible as cell phones?
Can we hack consciousness itself?
Tonight, Mikey – founder of Consciousness Hacking – will go over top trends in the Transformative Technology space, followed by a set of questions developed for his Stanford class that get at the fuzzy and sometimes provocative boundaries of this emerging intersection of tech and spirituality. The second half of the evening will be an open conversation hosted by Mikey, and led by the flow of the evening.
Consciousness Hacking (CH) is a global movement with local chapters that host events around the world. There’s a growing tide of wellness-related technologies coming to market, that focus on consciousness and well-being, like meditation apps, wearables devices that monitor your breathing patterns, and more.
We’ll explore:
(1) Consciousness Hacking
(2) Emerging trends, for better or worse
(3) Questions that define the space via small group discussion.
Mikey Siegel is a robotics engineer turned consciousness hacker. He is the founder of founder of Consciousness HackingBioFluent Technologies, and the Transformative Technology Conference.
Mikey envisions a present and future where science and technology support psychological, emotional and spiritual flourishing. Where our devices not only connect us to information, but also connect us to ourselves and each other, acting as a catalyst for individual and collective awakening.
He is currently teaching at Stanford University, and serving on the board of Trustees of the California Institute of Integral Studies. He received an MS in robotics from the MIT Media Lab.
In the age of iPhones and the interwebs, where people are more comfortable looking at screens than at people, connection has become a lost art. This Connection Jam, facilitated by Jonathan Bender, will not only help you connect with others, but also allows you to deepen your connection with yourself.
A Connection Jam gets you in touch with your own body, heart and voice as much as it does with other people. Think movement, self-expression, and heart-opening dialogue.
Connection Jams are guided processes (e.g., it’s not just an open forum where anything goes). In a safe and fun space, you will begin with connecting with yourself first, then move into interconnection with others.
This safe container takes you through a fun and embodied process (you’ll be moving around a fair amount). Introverts are incredibly welcome–we’ll have some exercises for you to feel more energized around others.
Note: this is not Contact Improvisation nor is it sexualized/romantic contact.
Bring a water bottle. Wear clothes you can move in.
